Microneedling

Microneedling

Microneedling also known as natural collagen induction therapy is one of the most popular treatments at FIG. This procedure utilizes a small pin-shaped device containing very-fine needles which perforate the top layers of the skin activating the skin’s natural repair mechanism. At FIG, we use the Skin Pin which is the first microneedling device cleared by the FDA.

This procedure can be performed on all skin colors and skin types with minimal downtime and may be done with PRP which can further improve results and healing time. Microneedling may be used on all parts of the body, but the face, neck and chest are the most popular treated areas.

PRP / PRF

PRP Rejuvenation

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) has been used in orthopedics and sports medicine for years to improve patient healing and overall results. Recently PRP has been incorporated into anti- aging treatments secondary to it’s ability to induce new collagen and slow or even reverse the aging process. PRP Therapy stimulates new collagen production in the area of concern with increased skin rejuvenation and repair.

In PRP Rejuvenation the patient’s own plasma is used to create a more youthful appearance. The PRP may be used to enhance facial shape and volume by using plasma processed from your own blood or in conjunction with dermal fillers.

Injectable PRP is also commonly used to treat the area under the eyes, deep folds, and acne scars.

PRP Microneedling

PRP Microneedling utilizes PRP with the microneedling procedure for enhanced results and improved healing time. The PRP is applied directly to the channels that were created from the microneedling to further stimulate the natural healing process and creation of collagen. This process stimulate natural growth factors to promote the regenerative process of the skin.

Some of the wonderful benefits to having PRP Rejuvenation or PRP Microneedling includes smoothing out facial wrinkles, stimulating collagen production, improving skin tone and texture and prolonging the duration of the filler.

PRP Tear Troughs

Tear troughs are located at the inner corners of the eyes, next to the nose. As we age, people will often encounter problems with this particular facial feature in the form of hollowing, often due to the depletion of the fat in the area. This can also occur in much younger patients due to loss of cheek volume after having lost a lot of weight. It can be quite bothersome as the hollowness can give a person a sunken and almost gaunt look, which only adds years to one’s appearance.

PRP Hair Restoration

PRP can be injected directly into your scalp to help regrow hair in areas of thinning hair or hair loss and can  also be used to treat forms of Alopecia.  PRP injections help induce growth factors and production of stem cells in the scalp that lead to hair growth  This treatment can be paired with other growth promoting therapies ,such as microneedling, minoxidil, and topical steroids to further facilitate hair growth.  Multiple treatments  may be necessary for thicker hair growth.

PRP Facelift

A PRP Facelift is a non-surgical facelift. Your face is injected with your own blood. PRP is a mixture of plasma, growth factors and blood platelets. PRP stimulates the production of collagen in the skin, making the skin look younger and firmer as a result. A PRP facelift can be combined with hyaluronic acid fillers to fill deeper wrinkles.

PRF

Platelet-rich fibrin is one of the latest additions to the medical spa world. Like PRP, it's made from your own platelets, but the harvesting and processing is completely different. Your blood is extracted and then spun in a different centrifuge at a slower and gentler rate. This traps the platelets in a protein matrix called fibrin. The result is a spongy mixture rich in platelets. It’s then harvested and can be injected directly into your skin, or applied topically to boost other skin care treatments. Anywhere you want to build tissue, like around the eyes or upper lift, PRF can give you a serious boost. And the best part: It pairs well with Microneedling and is a 100% natural and unmodified solution.
